High in levels of Linoleic acid, this oil also helps to maintain elasticity in the skin by removing rough, flaky, dry skin and enabling the skin to trap and retain moisture. Safflower oil is also has naturally high levels of vitamin E, important for reducing damage caused by free radicals. The University of Maryland Medical Centre states that linoleic acid can help mitigate inflammation, encourage the growth of new skin cells and possibly reduce the length and depth of fine wrinkles. Organic Soap Nut Juice Infused with Chamomile Tea
Soap Nut Juice is made from the fruit of the Chinese soapberry tree (sapindus mukorossi), related to the lychee and rambutan.
Soap Nut Juice contains saponin, an all-natural surfactant. Conventional detergents are manufactured chemical surfactants. Surfactants work by breaking the surface tension of water so it can more easily penetrate into fabrics, effectively making water “wetter.” Once wet, the agitation of your washing machine (or your hands) shakes the dirt loose from your clothes. Then Soap Nuts’ saponin holds the dirt in suspension in the water, preventing it from re-depositing on your clothes until you’ve rinsed it away. We have infused the Soap Nut Juice with Chamomile Tea for extra calming and gentle properties.
